This in-person class teaches atomic structure, grain structure, heat flow, phase transformations, welding metallurgy, and the weldability of ferrous commercial alloys. The course provides the basics and principles of major joining, the cutting process, the fundamentals of weld quality, inspection methods, welding codes, specifications, and safety.
